Appreciation could be generalized or defined as aliveness or awareness. There is no way to avoid what is, except by binding yourself with delusions. Grasping, holding on, is a form of aversion. Avoidance. Instead, accept. Appreciate. Be aware.
Acceptance is true liberation. Awareness is true movement. Appreciation is true freedom.
Be awareness. Tune in. Be right where you are. It is not a trap, or a hole, or a prison. It is always changing and infinitely vast. It always is – it never ends.
The trap lies in avoiding. The further you feel you are running from things, the stronger you make the chains of habitual patterns and suffering.
True movement doesn’t have anywhere to go. True movement is changing.
Acceptance is true liberation. Awareness is true movement. Appreciation is true freedom. Avoidance patterns show up for all of us, each day. Notice how they go in circles so they feel like motion, like getting somewhere. But you aren’t getting anywhere. The illusion of motion occurs when we project a static perception on that which is actually always changing. When we try to stop something that is shifting. Because it is an illusion, we go in circles. The birth and growth of avoidance patterns, bad habits, addictive behaviors.
True movement doesn’t have anywhere to go. True movement is changing. The way out of avoidance is to go in. Sit quietly, notice how everything is constantly shifting. Notice that which notices. Accept acceptance. (This is) True awareness.
